Assistant Varsity Coach:  Gary McGregor

Coach McGregor is in his 4th year with Sammamish.  He spent 13 years at Mount Si before coming to Sammamish in 2008. From 1995 to 1999 Coach "Mac" was the varsity assistant at Mount Si.  From 2000 to 2007 he was the head coach.  Under Coach Mac, Mount Si went to the KingCo playoffs 6 of his 8 years.  In 2005 Mount Si won the KingCo baseball league title.  It was the first baseball KingCo title for Mount Si and their first outright baseball title in school history.  In 2005 Coach Mac was named the WA State 3A Baseball Coach of the year.  He was also named the Seattle Times Area Baseball Coach of the year. In the eyes of Coach Ahern, "Mac has been the most valuable person in this program because of his knowledge and experience. The luxury of having someone with his credentials working with the "up-and-comers" in your program is essential to our future and development." Coach Mac played at B.C.C. and then Dickinson State in North Dakota. He lives with his wife Denae in North Bend. They have 2 sons, Jason and Josh.
